New tires on the motorcycle. They still feel a little bit slick and odd, but that'll change soon. And hey, traction!

Yeah, I remain boring on my motorcycle. Though the guy in the shop commented on my thin chicken strips, at least for a mainly commuter vehicle. So I may not qualify as a racer, but I can at least pretend not to be a total weenie.

(Chicken strips are the dark bands outside the main region of wear of your tire -- the more time you spend with your bike nearly horizontal, the smaller they get :-) )
