Novel's going poorly. Slowly, mainly. I need to change themes, or somehow otherwise get to where I can just sit down and write a big chunk. The current attempt is just failing to flow.

I've got a friend who is, in some ways, eerily "me but female". Not entirely so, certainly. She's not a programmer, for starters. But in a surprising variety of ways.
