Aug. 30th, 2002 10:46 amThis evening I'll be taking in a play about dead homosexual playwrights. Sounds fun, though, and it has Oscar Wilde as a character which tends to sit well with me. It's called something like "Carved in Stone". Sarah the long-ex-girlfriend got complimentary tickets and apparently I was the first person that came to mind to go with. I win!
And my former manager's going-away lunch from Palm is today. He's going off to be an engineer for Altera in Santa Cruz (Altera's all over, but he's gonna be in Santa Cruz at least). I'd offered to be a reference for him, but either it wasn't needed or things fell through at the company that was otherwise going to call me. In any case he's a great guy, he's far and away the best manager I've ever had, and I wish him the best of luck. Yay for Daryl!

Hey Noah!
Date: 2002-08-30 01:40 pm (UTC)Your next stop should be to father some children. Seriously. You're a smart attractive man and it's important to spread your good genes around.
I would have replied to the original post but it's really far back in my friends list and I would totally never see any response you might post.
OK, Bye.

Besides, I'm really not sure I'm responsible enough for that.
