noahgibbs: Me and my teddy bear at Karaoke after a day of RubyKaigi in HIroshima in 2017 (Default)

Some exchanges, when they flit through your mind, just cry out to be suppressed. I've always thought that in Shakespeare's "Comedy of Errors," the bit about the woman being so greasy that when the world burns she'll burn for a week longer is one of those. Here's a more prosaic one:

--------

"How was it?"

"Oh, the usual fun-packed thrill ride. I laughed, I cried, I wet your pants."

None in particular, I just really liked the way it rolled off the tongue once I thought of it. Totally random really.

Yes it does roll off the tongue and is quite enticing in that "goes past you, swoops around and smackes you in the back of the head" type of way.

Interesting and oddly seductive visual.

That's okay, I'm logging your IP address and trying to figure out if I'm too lazy to track it down :-)

Track away. It shouldn't be too hard.
The curious want to know if this one has a different IP address.

This one is different, and might be a common dialin service (I didn't check). You *did* make another post with the same login, so now I know who you are. A question to a mutual acquaintance let me know who owned the handle.

Curses! Foiled Again. :x)
You do realize your picture is smirking at me?

That is what I get for posting to other things before the entertainment that was this one. I figured you would track me down that way. From the timing of the posts if nothing else.

I even had plans of posting from yet another computer to play the IP game.

I don't usually pay much attention to the timing of posts. I know enough people that that can happen coincidentally.

I should probably get a non-smirking picture, just on principle. I'm not sure it'd look like me if I did, though ;-)

I've got some pictures taken and downloaded, but I haven't cropped or resized them for LJ yet. Some rain afternoon, perhaps.

Except that this is California, so I may be waiting awhile for a rainy afternoon.

I have a picture of you posted where you are sweaty and smiling,
http://www.nanidesuka.com/gina/plough/001.jpg

OK, it is from the Plough and you have been dancing quite a bit.
I am hoping to bring the hard copies on Monday.
I would have emailed it but I don't have your email address. ;)

As for waiting for a rainy afternoon, you should switch that to a hot sweltering afternoon. There is a lot more of them where you live and you still don't want to go out.

Interesting. That shirt comes out green in the picture. I like it. I'm not sure I'd want it for an LJ userpic, but then it's probably as good as the alternatives I've currently got...
