This weekend, the girl and I will be in Pittsburgh. We picked it at least partially because hey, late January seems like a time to let her try out the worst of the weather and see how it suits her...

So on Monday, we should probably have a better idea of whether we're *really* moving to Pittsburgh in July :-)

House stuff goes well. They had a big gathering of realtors this morning, and they all left cards. Apparently they didn't get the memo that we already had a realtor, and he was the one calling the gathering together, showing off the house and giving them food.

I forget what the deal is with realtors leaving cards, but they're not for you. They leave them at all the houses they go in to. It's weird.

it's how your realtor shows you that he/she got lots of other realtors to come look, so they can tell their clients. and in turn when he/she goes to somebody else's listing, he/she will leave his card.

Hey, it would be cool to see you this weekend if you have time. I have the boys until noon on Saturday and then I'm playing a game with Bayani from 2-9PM on Sunday, but I should be free other than that (including Monday night.) Maybe we could get dinner or something.

::crosses fingers for positive Pittsburhness:: I'm already thinking about how to fit a trip in this summer. ;-)

We're probably going to be doing the "hunker down" thing right after baby-ness, and not accepting houseguests... Perhaps later on, after we've had a chance to get a house and unpack. But yeah, we probably won't have a house at all until August-Sept or thereabouts, and getting settled in will take a bit longer. Baby stuff is unpredictable on timing for comfort, babies being generally unpredictable and all :-)

Well, if I'm in Zambia, it's all moot. But it'll give me something to look forward to, either this fall or later. (Certainly wouldn't want to impose!)
