The girl and I are giving a bit of stuff away that was duplicated in our collections. We've given some away, but some we're still working on giving out. While I'm posting "come get stuff" on LJ (not yet, but shortly), here's a quick inventory:

VHS:
"The Dark Crystal"
Jackie Chan's "Who Am I?"
"Labyrinth"
"A Christmas Story" (with the Red Ryder BB gun)
A bunch of old, bad Jackie Chan: "Half a Loaf of Kung Fu", "Fearless Hyena part 2", "Dragon Fist", "Bloodpact", "To Kill With Intrigue", "Shaolin Wooden Men...Young Tiger's Revenge", "New Fist of Fury", "In Eagle Shadow Fist"

Books:
2002 Metropolitan Bay Area Thomas Guide (book of maps)
Cerebus volume 14, "Form and Void"
"The Grey King" by Susan Cooper

Would love theh Cerebus volume.

And *that* I do have room for...

Cool. We'll figure out when we can get it to you...

How do you have an overlap of *one* book of Cerebus?

From: [identity profile] angelbob.livejournal.com
As with the Jackie Chan movies, it's not actually overlap... In the case of Cerebus, the problem is that I wound up getting it twice because I couldn't find my first copy for awhile.

I am sure that my girls would love to have Dark Cyrstal and Labrynth in our collection. I'm not sure how'd we go about getting hold of it but if you're willing to hold onto it for just a bit till we figure it out and nobody wants it sooner, we'd be willing to take care of your duplicate.

Works for me. We'll figure something out.

Can't be too hard. At the very least we could pass it on down the line to people who go to your house a lot. :)

I'm certainly more interested in giving the movies to kid-households than not. Corrupt them young!!

Since mine are well on their way, this will be a welcome addition. Thanks!

I am interested in the map book, Noah.

Sounds good. We'll need to figure out a way to get it to you.

I'll take The Grey King. I could probably swing by on my way home from work some evening--you haven't moved while I wasn't looking, right?

Nope, still at the same house in Fremont. Let me know what day you feel like swinging by.

I think we're going to the city tonight, so it would depend a lot on your timing.

I could make it around 7, but not much earlier.

Don't think that's going to work for us... :-(

Friday's great. What time of day do you expect you'll be over?

Sounds good. I'll plan to be here.

So, um... We never actually saw you. What's up?

Erk. Was very tired and forgot. Terribly sorry.

Er...how's tonight or Thursday?

Tonight would be fine. Thursday's an open question - we have plans that may or may not occur.

Tonight it is, then. Probably sevenish.

If no one else has claimed them yet, I'll take the Jackie Chan movies. I _love_ old cheesy Jackie Chan stuff...

Excellent! You're the first to pipe up. I think that's everything except "A Christmas Story" spoken for. Yay!
