I had a co-worker from China who thought that 'black' was never appropriate to say. He would never say that his pants were black, just very dark grey.

I like how the sticker on her forehead literally says "mark", meaning that if it was given to her by "the beast", it would literally be "the mark of the beast", or at least "the sticker of the beast that says mark"

Actually, her LJ name is "Marnanel", so it's "Marn", and short for that.
