I was talking recently to a friend, a guy I've known for years. He and his lovely wife are a very quiet and (I thought) very vanilla couple. They're now apparently part of a romantic quad and have been for awhile. It sounds like it's working out well, and it was something they just kinda fell into randomly with another couple.

I swear, there must be something in the water out here.

So that's one more reason to never move :-)

It's always fun to find out that one's supposedly vanilla friends are anything but.

Like the time that I was at a science fiction convention, and a friend and I noticed that we were each showing great interest in the bdsm erotica bookseller's table.

Oh yeah, and like when my parents came out to me as being polyamorous too, after I told them that I was.
