For instance, I realized today that "centrifuge the mayonnaise" is a wonderful euphemism. Several possible meanings come to mind, all appropriately distasteful, and all made a little weirder by the phrase.
I've now got Advanced Tickets to a late Lord of the Rings showing. Not "Advance Tickets" -- I'd know what those are. But right on the ticket it says "Advanced Ticket", so I suppose it's better than the regular beginner tickets. Perhaps they recognized Spider's status as Bearer of Trivia and gave her the special Tolkein-fans-only kind. Or maybe it's a kowtow to the fact that tickets cost nine bucks, so there had better be something special about them.
