Immediately after I got out of the hospital (what, Thursday noonish?) I received a cold-packed box of strawberries dipped in several different kinds and amounts of chocolate. Not only were they lovely-tasting, but also they made excellent gifts to helpers like the ever-loyal ravenslost and boot_slut, and to Bill, who helped get my damaged motorcycle home. Thanks, papertygre!

And speaking of boot_slut, she is officially my hero. She took the leg things off my wheelchair for convenience in wheeling me around... And shortly after she left, I discovered that without the leg bits, I can make the turn out of my room by myself. I can now get to the living room on demand and even *go to the bathroom* by myself. Using an actual toilet. With nobody else needing to do anything or even be in the house! Woo!
