The phrase "you have the right to say no" is an amazing piece of spin-doctoring of the legal reality that "you have no right to say yes". I mean, looking at the word "right" in its legal sense.
But "don't do it or we'll lock you up, unless you're rich, white or named Bush" doesn't have the same ring to it.
