There has always been pornography.
When cave people started wearing dead animal skins as clothes, about the same time they probly started carving naked chicks on the walls with the antelope and saber-toothed tigers.

that's always been my theory about the venus of willendorf. say you just stumble accross some image of a naked chick, and have to guess whether it's a religious item or prehistoric cave porn-- well, i know which seems more likely to me.
