I seem to have been struck down by some form of ambient nastiness going around. I'm achey and ridiculously tired...

I just *really* hope this breaks in plenty of time for the DHP. I'm *so* not looking forward to lots of cleanup and shopping like this, and I've now officially put it off too long. For decent reasons, but still. Oy.

You can do what people are always telling me to do, which is ask for help. Enough people attend your parties, it seems to me that they should be willing to help. You know, a little red hen kinda thing.

I would be happy to help, but I am on full kid duty and have no car tomorrow or Friday. But I might be able to help on Saturday...

Heh. Miss Manners, prior to that question, probably couldn't think of a reasonable activity where you all hang around naked, either. I'm not sure I'd take her offhand recollections as gospel on this one.

Then again, we *both* allow clothed-ness in the hot tub and throw a two-tiered party of the kind she mentions.
