Mar. 30th, 2004 02:30 pmMy bike now has new tires, new brake pads and new oil. It's much happier now.
I've got chicken marinating in the other room. I'm going to try a variation on one of the recipes I developed a year or two ago, so I'm making extra of the basic kind -- 'cause last time I tried to change this one, I screwed it up completely :-)
Cookie ingredients are laid out and waiting in the other room.
And I've got a date coming over tonight, which is why I'm making the chicken (but not the cookies especially, that's just something I've wanted to do for a bit).
Things are good.
Edit: Oh, and here is a picture of me eating fire in that class last week.

Date: 2004-03-30 03:01 pm (UTC)Is this one of the rum recipes? If so, please do post it, I have extra rum and as I recall it made for tasty chicken.
Good to see you experimenting again, one upside of unemployment, I suppose. Hope the chicken (and cookies) turn out well.

Date: 2004-03-30 04:31 pm (UTC)Normally I just stuff it with ricotta and bake at 275 for an hour or so. If tonight's more interesting variation works well, I'll post that separately.
