noahgibbs: Me and my teddy bear at Karaoke after a day of RubyKaigi in HIroshima in 2017 (brad's somber mood)
[personal profile] noahgibbs
On Sunday, after a nice morning workout with [livejournal.com profile] boot_slut (no, no, I just mean at 24-Hour Fitness) and a lunch with her and her guy, I headed home and found myself getting a tad dizzy. My workout that morning had left me more wiped than usual, which I attributed to finding the leg-press machine and trying it out...

Nope. By the time I'd gotten home, it was obviously not just a hard workout. I was hit by some kind of Martian Death Virus, and [livejournal.com profile] ravenslost and I basically hibernated the rest of the day. I've slept, like, 20 out of the last 24 hours.

Feeling better this morning, though not at 100%.

gak, sorry to hear it. I know [livejournal.com profile] bk2w has been fighting this off for a week now, and I just keep telling myself that my energy levels are back, really they are.

I hope it runs through its course much faster with you.

So far, so good. I'm definitely in better shape now than yesterday.

Yup. Did a lot of good for me, and I'm feeling much better today. But that might also explain why I got tired and stopped my workout early...

You should acquire the book Eros Ex Machina for, if nothing else, the story about the woman who falls in love with the leg press machine at her gym.

Cool! I'll have to find some kind of excuse to be at the same gathering you are some time soon. Guess I could go back to Sunset & Port for the first time in way too long...

Don't bother, I haven't been there in ages. Not my crowd. Perhaps I shall use [livejournal.com profile] sinboy as a courier and send him to the next DHP.

Or you could come to Fire & Fog on the 29th, if you do anything crafty-like.
