Between travel, various problems, getting ready to sell the house and so on, it feels like absolutely *everything* is up in the air.

And yet, having a specific deadline for big chunks of my life is really nice. I'm cleaning up big sections of my personal organizer and getting rid of recurring tasks ("this would happen next in March? Great, it's gone.")

Wrapping things up is a very *clean* feeling. I have this same feeling when changing jobs, often.

(Not changing jobs right now. Thankfully.)

I definitely never decide I've done enough work. I mean, I have some amount of self-regulation, and I notice extremes of exhaustion and idleness (or just doing other work.)

But in general, I don't usually get to the "that feels like enough work" point without the exhaustion.
