Today's "wow, she's *good* at talking!" discussion with Shanna:

Me: Are you done eating?
Shanna: I'm done with my shirt 'cause it's covered in yogurt.

I remind my readers that she isn't *quite* two years old yet, though she will be very soon. This is really pretty scary speech development. Go her!

The utterance above, while it's above her usual sentence complexity, isn't totally out there -- she certainly says things like that daily.
