I love how much power those "christians" think the people who play D&D have. I would say it was a promo for D&D if I didn't know better. I can see the brochure now: "Come play D&D, get the inside scoop on the Occult, have the power to make people do your bidding"
Except for the ugly face the teacher/D&D sponsor made, I thought the "bad" stuff looked much more interesting and fun than that "good" "christian" stuff.
Notice that there were girls in the game and the leader was a woman. Never saw that gender balance at games I have been part of. At best we had 3 females to 5 males.
Isn't it enjoyable that a game that allows kids to basically just elaborate on "playing pretend" is threatening to some people? A friend of mine who used to own a gaming store said that TSR had a small army of lawyers on retainer just to fight these people.
