We had a good party. Tao Neuendorffer made it out, as did mj2q. Much fun was had, many people attended, the food worked out quite well and people seemed to enjoy each other's company.

Tao is safely back to Pittsburgh. I don't know Mark's schedule offhand, but I'd assume he is as well by now.

The dishes are mostly washed, the trash is thrown out, and with a bit of vacuuming and mopping I'll be done with party cleanup. It really wasn't bad.

There is additional party fallout, which is leaving me feeling superstitious. It was my father that told me, very recently, "Nevada just hasn't been good for you."

Amen.

How was Tao doing? The last I saw her she seemed to be a little better, although she'd occasionally jump.

I remember the jumps, but saw none this weekend. She seems to be in physically decent shape though she's still got a lot of weight that she gained from medications' side effects. She's kinda depressed, for thoroughly understandable reasons. I choose to believe that the trip and the socializing was good for her :-)
