Nov. 17th, 2002 01:15 pmThose of you who actually read the Harry Potter books when they came out can scoff at me. Go ahead. Get it out of your system in advance.
So in the second movie, the "Tom Riddle" thing with the anagram makes me happy. The idea that you should make an anagram out of your name (all three -- first, middle and last) and come up with a new anagrammed name for yourself (and the anagram might, say, end up as "I am ..." or perhaps "He is ...")...
<grin>
Yeah, I'm partial to the idea that the greatest wizard in the world picked his name that way.
(for those of you who don't get it -- ask me about the name "angelbob")

Date: 2002-11-19 05:00 pm (UTC)(Incidentally, I did try to send this a few days ago when you first posted it, but my computer crashed. Sorry. And also interesting that you consider the big LV the greatest wizard in the world, when most people are too busy kissing Harry's ass to even notice the psychotic megolamaniac in the corner who dribbles a lot and thinks he can talk to snakes. I'll be watching you, make no mistake...)
