My friends page just gets more traffic than I can deal with, and I almost never bother to post friends-only entries. I removed some infrequently-updated journals, some journals of people I didn't know as well when I was physically near them, and a couple approximately at random.

I hope you won't take significant offense -- you're not missing out on any of the content of my journal, which may not cheer you up anyway :-)
