Back home, safe and sound
Feb. 20th, 2009 01:44 pmWe're back home. All's well. We're unpacking, getting some cleaning started and whatnot. I've been out of phone and email contact for two weeks, and I'm not even going to try to catch up fully on LJ. Feel free to point me at (and/or resend) anything really important. I'll try and get more or less up to date over the weekend.
Had lots of fun! It was awesome. I'll try to write about bits of it as they occur to me. If there's anything you're curious about, I can also do requests :-)

Welcome home

Date: 2009-02-20 10:09 pm (UTC)There was a central office that was happy to provide extras of the basic amenities, and various (usually New-Zealand-themed) movies on DVD. The central cafe thing was nothing special and closed 3-4 days a week, but that was okay because it was within a 15-30 minutes drive of Rotorua, which had absolutely fantastic food.

Going to the Stanford hospital to start a consult with Neurology next week. Mostly passing my classes, if in some cases by less than I might like. B and I are schmoopy, film at 11.
