Though it's been simple stuff, I don't think I've cooked this consistently for this long since college. The only comparable period of time that comes to mind is boot camp (exercise, not military), before almost any of you knew me.

It's nice. I'm enjoying being able to again. Maybe I should make time for some baking. Bread or cookies, something simple. It's been awhile.

I'm terribly at cooking for myself. I got into the habit in AZ when I lived 25 mins from the nearest grocery store and out of the habit when I lived in CA and the kitchen was nearly uninhabitable. I really wish I were better at cooking.

Btw, it rocks that you get paternity leave. One of the cooler things about CA. Are you still planning on moving to PA this summer? Or in the near future? I'd love to visit sometime - no hurry though. (Or vice versa - we have these cities around here I hear have some cool stuff in them. I'm 1.5 hrs from Philly and 1 from NYC - one reason CA cities seemed a little dinky to me.)

We'd like very much to move to PA, but it's going to depend on the housing market. So it's way too early to call... But it's not happening this summer. We hope it's still happening in the next 2-3 years, but again, it depends on the housing market.
