Aw, hell, it *is* Wednesday...

A little more non-productivity this morning.

This week, Brezsny tells the Gemini:

Twenty-nine-year-old Gemini actor Colin Farrell recently reached out to an older woman--a *much* older woman. While working on the film *Ask the Dust,* he made a prolonged attempt to seduce one of his fellow stars, Dame Eileen Atkins, who was 69 years old at the time. Though she was flattered, she turned him down. In the coming week, Gemini, I urge you to try a more elevated version of Farrell's quest. Seek intimate contact with an influence that will bless you with the sexy powers of age, wisdom, and experience.

I'll see what I can do. It's hard to express how attractive this sounds to me right now. But in periods of transition where I'm doing a lot of self-examination, I always feel young and confused. The instinct that makes me say, "look, I'm really floundering here, can somebody with a clue help me out?" is still alive, well and very strong, even though it's rarely or never helped me on this kind of problem.

No, that's not quite true.

I'm used to thinking that, but there's been a really big exception to that very recently. And I owe [livejournal.com profile] karenbynight much thanks for it. So maybe I've already done this week's horoscope :-P

It's not a bad thing to recommend that I emphasize in any case.

Wouldn't it be nice if life came with an instruction manual, one that really works?

Um, it doesn't. We muddle through the dreck to find joy and meaning.

(I hope that you're not crashing from the weekend. But if you are, give a shout-out).

As long as you keep finding yourself starting over as the Fool, that's a sign that you're still the hero of your own story. Don't take it too hard.
