noahgibbs: Me and my teddy bear at Karaoke after a day of RubyKaigi in HIroshima in 2017 (robot president monkey)

Suckful work problem has mutated. Again. No, one more time *after* that.

I can now approximately jog.

Dating me is, I'm told, self-destructive behavior.

Still not king.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

Sympathies

Hey, did you somehow stumble across the script of my life? You seem to be describing it to a T, though you seem to be lagging about a week behind me.

Things are starting to look up. I'll keep you posted on the king thing.

Yay jogging! Jogging is very kingly behaviour. (if it's kingly, should it be behaviour?)

Doesn't that depend on whether it is a british king or some other nationality of king?

I'm in luck. The "dating me is self-destructive behavior" thing isn't from either of the people I'd really worry about it from.

And the rest? Eh, I can deal with it.

Well, I'm not jogging for any distance. But hey, even just down a hill for a hundred feet or so is still progress.

Dating you is self-distructive? Let's just say I haven't seen it. And I'm quite aware of when I'm being self-districtive.

It might be for some I guess, if dating you goes against their best interests. Catch me up later, I'm intersted to hear the details.

Indeed it is!

Woo-hoo! Go you. Yay, progress!

Yeah and me too.

Who the fuck said this? I apparently need to have words with someone. I strenuously object and fucking resent the implication.

No. I'm not irritated. Why do you ask?

I would like to apologize in advance for not being able to stop myself from pointing out your typo. I realize it's petty. Please forgive me.

That being said...

You're being self-districtive? Ooh, can I...gerrymander you, baby?

No worries, I caught it right after I hit "post". That said, this may have been the best pick up line used on me recently. ;-)

There is the possibility that the person saying this, was saying it in reference to themselves, or to how they feel the decision to date [livejournal.com profile] angelbob would be given their particular situation.

If it *was* said in reference to those who he's presently dating, I'm quite sure that he'd have said something directly to us both... Beyond that anyone who would think that of you and I? Well, obviously they would be talking out their don't know either of us.

in my world...

I hereby crown you the King of Something, Prince of Halloween, and Royal Consort to the Empresses of Fierce Loyalty (noting their comments above).

Congrats on the jogging. That's great progress.
