Oh, and for all you CMU people -- the villainous, reviled, sociopathic billionare corporate raider father of Burt Ward's wife has the last name "Posner". I'm guessing it's not a coincidence.

He sleeps with fourteen-year-old girls and makes nasty jokes about them at the dinner table. In their presence. About oral sex. Somehow, despite all they have in common he and Burt Ward don't get along :-)

Is that Victor Posner? As opposed to political pundit Vladimir Posner, or the law professor Richard Posner? Not sure in what way (if at all) they're in relation to the Posner behind Posner Hall (given Victor's nonexistent academic track record, I can't imagine a building constructed after him).

And he (Victor) died back in February, if I remember hearing correctly.

Victor Posner sounds right. I know it wasn't Richard or Vladimir. I hadn't known he'd died, but I don't ordinarily keep up on these things.

On the one hand, lack of academics seems like it would keep you from getting a building named after you. On the other hand, Stanford has a Gates Hall.
