noahgibbsTurns out that the import limit into Japan for alcohol is 3 bottles, each about 3/4 of a liter. So that doesn't sound all that restrictive. And for excess alcohol brought in, the duty is 150 Yen, which is between $1.00 and $1.50. Definitely not a significant problem.
