"Go browse through my list of interests and pick one that either you know nothing about or can't fathom why I'd be interested in that and ask for an explanation."

Stolen from, like, a big chunk of my friends list.

"amorous tarsier munitions"?

Heh. A few of you (but not all that many) may remember a comic called Space Moose. Amorous Tarsier Munitions was the supplier marked on crates in a year 2000 "stock up for the apocalypse" storyline.

Incidentally, [livejournal.com profile] tshuma, I don't necessarily recommend that *you* go and read a lot of Space Moose. Particularly at work. You've been warned :-)

That's what a friend-of-a-friend calls essentially any internet-connected computer. I loved the idea, and added it to my LJ interests.

It's the name of a piece of software I maintain. If you're curious, check out "http://phantasmal.sf.net" and "http://phantasmal.sf.net/DGD". It's a MUD library, which is to say, a package to set up a MUD running on your machine. Still pretty simple at this point.

Nope. That's the name (nom de plume, I expect) of a fellow who writes twisted children's books.

Look for him on Amazon, you'll see several.

It's a comic. It's been basically defunct for awhile, but it's cute. "http://snaildust.xidus.net/"

Wow. I've actually been a fan for a while without knowing it. I love when that happens. Do you know the work of Ted Naifeh?

No, I hadn't heard of him. But I like the look of the page... :-)

not even when "from work" means "from the laptop in yours (and [livejournal.com profile] bk2w's computer room"?

=) S'okay, I have a lot of work to do today anyway.

Well, okay, reading it at home is fine. Well, I mean, it'll still traumatize you, but the DH'll be okay.

Courtney Crumrin is wonderful (it's the comic featured on that page). Gloomcookie is neat also, but I haven't read as much of it.
