Christmas baking season has begun...
Nov. 28th, 2021 12:14 pmI have mixed two decent-size jars of aged eggnog to age. More is probably good, but these are a start.
I made a big batch of pecan divinity. We'll definitely want to do more -- it's tasty, and since it contains only sugar and egg whites, it's *fantastic* for people with dietary limitations.
We used the single bag of really *good* butterscotch chips to make banana bread, which is *amazing*. We can only really get them from the US, so we use them over the course of the season... Apparently butterscotch chips aren't really a thing in the UK.
Dunno what's next. Snickerdoodles, maybe? Pumpkin bread? We're trying to focus on stuff we can give away early on.
