A vignette

One might easily imagine a situation in a kitchen, with a protagonist calmly cutting and eating ham, as the carefully preserved corpse of a pig sits by, staring balefully. The situation in our own kitchen today was almost exactly that, with myself as the protagonist, and in the pig's role -- celery.

Palin gets pranked

A couple of Montreal radio comedians were able to mimic French accents well enough to get through to Sarah Palin personally, pretending to be Nikolas Sarkozy (president of France) and a secretary in his office.

Palin stays on-message throughout, but misses a series of interesting little hints, like a completely wrong name for the prime minister of Canada... And either they have a funny accent, or that's bad fake French (I'm far from an expert, and could be wrong).
