(no subject)

My latest episode of yard care by repeated apocalypse has begun. Mowed again, for the first time in too long. Still to go: hedges and trimming the blue potato trees in the back.

After all the rain, the roses are all *really* happy. They'll probably never be this happy again in my time here. The orange tree is covered in flowers and smells lovely. Maybe I'll see oranges before I leave. I planted that orange tree, and it's been very gratifying to see it grow up. Shame I won't be here to enjoy it longer-term, but hey, I'm still happy to have seen it, you know?
