The DHP was very good, and things like cleanup weren't too painful :-) Thanks much to all the folks that helped! Thanks also to our excellent attendees - as usual, you made it a wonderful party, and we thank you for it.

I need to go back and contact several of the housemate possibilities, but things look pretty good on that front. There are actual interested people about, so I'm feeling pretty good.

Am also now job-hunting - have been for a bit. Circumstances are a bit weird. For those of you who don't yet know the details, it's pretty much standard 'startup in Silicon Valley' oddity, but it's still not a good idea for me to go into much detail on LJ. I'll say more when the situation finishes shaking out.

Generally feeling better this week than last week about the stuff that needs to be done. I've got time, I've actually got a decent pad of money between me and not eating, and I've made a decent head start on all the stuff that needs doing. Could be much, much worse :-)

Okay. Looks like I've got the new housemate thing figured out. You'll be happy to know, lady_phoenixice, that the cute dog will indeed be living here :-)
