Jun. 17th, 2005 09:35 pmI've now had a habanero burger from the Prince of Wales Pub in San Mateo. My tapeworm may never forgive me :-P
Speaking of tapeworm - my waist size has been falling lately. Noticeably. And I'm spending my time eating ice cream, chocolate and cherry pie. Why am I melting? Sure, okay, I'm getting a bit of exercise, but not *way* more than usual.
I don't remember how long 5-HTP is supposed to take to kick in, but I've been taking it for about 2.5 weeks now. For those not in the know, 5-HTP is a Serotonin precursor, so it's sort of a mild antidepressant available over the counter. Kinda like St John's Wort that way. I can't tell if my mood is because of any of several other things instead, but I *have* been noticeably more cheerful lately at random times. So maybe it's doing good things for me. I shall have to play with dosage and see how it goes.
