Had a good weekend. I spent Saturday helping Pixar Tom move. Then on Sunday I slept too much, went to Paul Lambert's 30th birthday luau and then a going away party for [livejournal.com profile] rasalila.

My life is an iceberg in some sort of Platonic Solid configuration. There are N points, things like work, money, relationships, hobbies and so on. And because of its buoyancy, I can only keep N-1 submerged and under control at once. There's always one extra bouncy bit that peeps up out of the water to taunt me. That was, like, mandatory since it looks like I may have the previous irritating point figured out.

And in other news... Comic with a C++ joke. Heh. Funnnnny.

The 22nd Amendment Under Attack AND we're trying to kick the UN out of NYC!

Want 20 more years of The Shrub? Me neither.

Both bills have been referred to separate committees, althought I can't find much specific detail on them.

I got an invitation for something called Friendster. Then I realized that I knew a bunch of LJ people that are already there, presumably through another channel (most of them presumably don't know Kirin (yes, Kirin, not [livejournal.com profile] capnkjb)).

I'm tempted to delete my account now, just to avoid another massive timesuck. LJ does that pretty well on its lonesome.

Last-minute information was acquired, causing my taxes to need redoing. I'm having them done professionally since there's both securities and house stuff on this year's return (and I'm a weenie). That means I pick it up tomorrow. Gonna be close.

My housemate gets back tonight if memory serves. But [livejournal.com profile] blk tends to know these things better than I do :-)
