Dec. 5th, 2002 02:55 pmI have come to understand why I get all the multiple posts happening. It's the fault of Netscape7, which is a shame since I otherwise quite like it.
Under high-load conditions when a site disconnects in particular ways, Netscape will retry the fetch or post operation. That can cause it to try repeatedly and thus post repeatedly, even though I only hit the button once.
I get the same problem when making Blogger comments under high-load conditions, probably for the same reason. Sigh.
