Sep. 12th, 2002 02:37 pmThere's a restaurant in Walnut Creek called Prima. A friend's dad used to work there, which is how I know about it.
I've been once now, and their dessert menu contained something with a name like "Chocolate Espresso-Rum Cake". I don't think it was flourless, but it almost had a texture as if it was. I tend to forget that I don't consume a lot of caffeine on most days. I consumed a lot more than usual yesterday, at least if you count the piece of cake :-) Lots of espresso in it, lots of cocoa, and in general a really intense flavor.
I dub it the "Rum and Caffeine Slap-You-Around Cake". It wins.

I'm using the one on TheSpark, more because it's a very common one than for any other reason. It rates me as 34% pure.
I took another one, specifically about sex, and came out 41% pure. But I suspect the scores tend to be higher on that one since you have to do a lot more to get the more impressive questions.

And on the same entertainment riff, CheapAss Games is up to their usual (good) tricks. Apparently "Give Me The Brain" and "Lord of the Fries" will be coming out in color later this year, and "Kill Doctor Lucky" will have a "director's cut" and a full, luxurious, $30 edition coming out. Aw, yeah.
