Jan. 21st, 2004 12:01 pmBrezsny brings us the scary thought du jour:
The Chinese Year of the Monkey begins this week. According to astrologer Shelly Wu , it will be "rich in the unexpected," tweaking everyone's concept of what's normal. Ruses, half-truths, and tricks will proliferate, turning the whole year into an extended balancing act. Is anyone likely to thrive? Wu suggests it'll be those with agile intelligence, frisky imagination, and an affinity for risk and novelty. Sounds to me like she's describing the Gemini tribe. Are you ready to be a leader and role model for the rest of us?
You guys want me as a leader and role model, or what?

Date: 2004-01-21 03:35 pm (UTC)Let's compromise -- you can lead in matters of cuteness and imaginative friskiness (he mentions a frisky imagination), while I'll handle monkey noises and intellectual agility.
I'll take an affinity for risk, and you can have novelty.
Sound good?

My monkey and a half cheer on this upheaval. ("half" due to the fact that one of them is a bunny...but don't let his outward appearance fool you. He's plenty monkey too)
