noahgibbsI have lots of situations where there's nothing I particularly want, and nothing I'd give for it. I'm interacting with somebody to whom I'm almost wholly neutral, and to whom the only reasonable response is I-don't-care-about-you politeness, which is returned in kind and for pretty much the same reason.
And that's the thick, viscous grease that keeps this heavy world rotating on its poorly-maintained axle.
I'm reminded of that fact periodically. Usually when I'm in a situation that's nothing like that. They're such a breath of fresh air.
